The publication of these newsletters is part of a research and outreach project of the Department of International Relations at EPPEN-UNIFESP Osasco. These newsletters are developed by LASInTec and published monthly, featuring information and brief analyses by our researchers. The (Anti)Security Newsletter marks the transition from our previous special newsletter, 'Security and Monitoring: Securitized Democracy in the Pandemic,' to a new format that focuses on our ongoing research topics, such as the blurring of lines between public security and international security, the policing of the Armed Forces, the militarization of the police, the conduct of the citizen police, penal abolitionism, and the forms and operations of monitoring devices, all as components of securitized democracy.
