(Anti)Security Newsletter

The publication of these newsletters is a research and extension project of the Department of International Relations at EPPEN-UNIFESP Osasco. It is produced by LASInTec and published monthly with information and brief analyses by our researchers. The (Anti)Security Newsletter marks the transition from our previous extraordinary newsletter, “Security and monitorings: securitized democracy in the pandemic”, to a new newsletter that relies on our research topics, such as the indiscernibility between public security and international security, the policialization of the Armed Forces and the militarization of the police, the conduct of the citizen police, penal abolitionism, the forms and workings of the monitoring device, all as components of securitized democracy.
